Daybreak — Focus & Screen Time
Your data stays on your device

Effective date: July 6, 2026

Daybreak (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a focus and screen-time app provided by KinglerApps. This policy explains what the app accesses, why, and how it’s handled. Our core principle: your personal usage data stays on your device, with the limited exception below for anonymous crash and diagnostic reporting.

Key Points

Data We Collect

Daybreak has no user accounts. It does not collect, store, or upload your app-usage history, focus windows, daily limits, blocked-app or blocked-website choices, companion (Foxi) progress, or settings to any server — that information stays on your device (and is stored encrypted on it). The only data sent off your device is the anonymous diagnostic and analytics data described below.

Purchases of Daybreak Pro are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details; Google may provide us anonymised purchase status so the app can unlock Pro features.

Permissions We Use

Diagnostics & Analytics

Daybreak uses Google Firebase to keep the app stable and understand which features are used:

Firebase Crashlytics collects anonymous crash and diagnostic data when the app stops unexpectedly (e.g. device model, OS version, and technical crash details).

Firebase Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage events (e.g. which screens are opened) and an app-instance identifier that is not tied to your real-world identity.

This data does not include the on-device usage data above, is not used for advertising, and is not used to identify you. It is processed by Google under its Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared only with Google as a processor, and only as needed to provide crash reporting and analytics (Firebase) and to process subscription purchases (Google Play). We never share your on-device usage history, schedules, blocked-app choices, or settings with anyone.

Your Rights & Choices

Because Daybreak stores your usage data only on your device, you stay in full control of it:

On-device data: Uninstalling Daybreak removes all of its locally stored data from your device.

Permissions: You can revoke the Accessibility Service, Usage Access, Notifications, or Exact Alarms at any time in your device settings (note that blocking and stats features depend on them).

Analytics: To request deletion of the anonymous diagnostic/analytics data associated with your device, contact us using the details below.

Regional rights: Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold no personal data on our own servers, you can direct such requests to us using the contact details below and we will assist.

Children’s Privacy

Daybreak is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
